		<description>hey Jim and John,

I originally bought my house for 70K and had to have PMI insurance on it...costing me close to an extra $50 each month on my mortgage. I now owe 60K and the house is worth high 80&#039;s to 90K. But in order to get the PMI off, I was told that I would have to spend a few hundred dollars to get an appraisal done. Is that right? Since I never missed a payment, is the PMI due back to me or go toward my overall balance?

Thanks for any clarity you can give me.</description>

		<description>Mr. Bigelow

I just want to update your information. Actually the military does recognise doctors of chiropractic. Several military healthcare facilities employ licensed, fulltime doctors of chiropractic. This implimentation started in 2003 and the military goal is to have a doctor of chiropractic available for all active duty military and at all military healthcare facilities. Tricare is also slated to cover chiropractic care for its participants and as of yet it has not been placed in the budget. The V.A. also allows for chiropractic services.

Feel free to check out the American Chiropractic Association website to see when tricare will add chiropractic coverage.

As an additional note doctors of chiropractic have been reimbursed for services rendered from Medicare and Blue Shield since the early 1970&#039;s.

Be well.

<description>Good recommendations--there are a lot of simple things people can do. And there are deeper improvements the make homes more energy-efficient (and safer and more comfortable at the same time) . Regarding the home energy audit, it’s important to get the right audit–accurate and actionable and looking at the right things like duct leakage, air infiltration, and equipment efficiency and combustion safety and an analysis of utility bills, and even an IR scan. For a bit more background on audits and additional links, follow my post at http://greenhomesamerica.wordpress.com/2009/05/07/home-energy-audits-2/

Thanks and good luck!

<description>My daughter is a Tricare dependent with a recent referral for a chiropractor from an emergency room in Valley View Hospital, Ada, OK. She was having trouble breathing due to muscle spasms in her back.

This was two weeks ago. And now she is calling me to contact a Tricare Chiropractor and I looked up Tricare Oklahoma to check availability of same and found your input that chiropractic medicine is not approved by Tricare.

Hummmmmm! So, I&#039;m calling OKC, Tinker Field Tricare specialists to check on same.

I do understand that we could go to an orthopedic doctor with spinal manipulation expertise----HOW IN THE WORLD WOULD I KNOW THAT THE DOCTOR HAS THIS EXPERTISE UNLESS CITED BY TRICARE AS SUCH?
